Art Exhibit on March 8th!

Hello Fun-a-Dayers! It's almost time for the art exhibit for our January art project. If you have participated with us this January, please bring your project to show at the exhibit and reception. No matter how far you got through the month, or how complete your project, you are invited to celebrate with us!

Art Exhibit & Reception

Saturday, March 8th 2014

1 - 4pm

Warwick Public Library

600 Sandy Lane, Warwick, RI 02886

Please prepare your January artwork for hanging, and/or consider how you would like to present your project at the reception. The library has a hanging system, and we encourage artists to bring easels if needed for tabletop display. We have made up art tags for you to use for your artwork. Your Fun-a-Day artwork may be made for sale, along with cards or prints of these works. Artists will handle their own sales, and keep all profits from their sales.

We have a limited amount of time to set up for the event - this is truly a pop-up show! Artists can begin setting up at 12pm on Saturday. After the show, we have until 5:30pm to break down and be out of the library.

Please invite friends and family to this event! We want this show to be a success, so we ask you to spread the word, and share the invite.

We are in need of food and soft drinks for the reception, and any donations by artists would be appreciated. Please contact Patty Martucci through this web page, at 401-573-1114 or our Facebook page if you plan to bring something to the reception.

Launch party postponed due to snow...off to a snowy start!

Hello Fun-A-Day-ers! Today is the first day of January, and the official start of our project. We just had a great article posted in the Warwick Beacon yesterday about the event, and have artists committing themselves to having fun with us and being creative this month!

Of course it's January in New England, so 2014 is bringing us a snowstorm Thursday! We will have to postpone Thursday's launch party until next week. Keep up with us here, or on our Facebook page for info on the new meeting date. We will post it as soon as it's confirmed.

Until then, we would love to see your Fun-A-Day progress! Feel free to share images or YouTube videos of your work in the comments here, or on the Facebook page.

Welcome!

Welcome to Fun-A-Day Warwick! 

We are a new branch of the Fun-A-Day project in Rhode Island. We are getting set up for the 2014 FAD event, and have just secured a show space at the Warwick Public Library for Saturday, March 8th. We will be posting more info as we get our ducks in a row for the event.
